Bumbershoot returns to Seattle on the Labor Day Weekend. The annual international music and arts festival takes place at the Seattle Center, from Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1. The lineup has been announced headlining The Lumineers, H.E.R., Tyler, the Creator, Rezz, Louis the Child and Jai Wolf. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, June 5 at 10 am PST.
Speaking of the headliners, The Lumineers recently released their new video “Gloria” off upcoming album III, the group will also feature in 2019’s KROQ Weenie Roast music concerts on June 8. Carly Rae Jepsen also released her brand-new album Dedicated in May. Artists like Tyler, The Creator performed his new tracks from Billboard No.1 album IGOR on Day 1 of Governors Ball festival last week.
Launched in 1971, Bumbershoot is one of North America’s largest festivals that not only brings top musical acts but also introduces comedy and conversation, arts and culture, fashion and exhibitions, as well as gourmet local food. Besides the headliners posted in the festival flyer, this year, the festival plays hide-and-seek with festival-goers: a secret guest is marked as “*****(Artist To Be Announced)” in the flyer, so stay tuned!
Musical performances from other artists include LP, Taking Back Sunday, Hippie Sabotage, Carly Rae Jepsen, Alina Baraz, Summer Walker, Clairo, Rival Sons, Bob Moses, Snow tha Product, Reignwolf, A R I Z O N A, Alec Benjamin, SOB X RBE, Gallant and many more. Comedy shows feature Neal Brennan, Ramy Youssef, Punch Up The Jam, Ian Karmel, Jak Knight , Zack Fox, #Adulting with Michelle Buteau + Jordan Carlos, Quinta Brunson and many more. Art exhibitions from artists, Totally Legit, Seattle Design Nerds, Urban Artworks, Tariqa Waters presents Martyr Sauce, Electric Sky, Trivia Puppet Company and more.
