Female empowered music festival, the YOLA Fest, has been tweaked a little bit. Originally known as the YOLA Fest, it has now been named as the YOLA DÍA festival and will now take place August 18 instead of June 8. A new lineup has also been curated for the festival. Most acts from the previous lineup are still included on the bill such as Courtney Love, Lykke Li, Cat Power, and Megan Thee Stallion. New additions include SOPHIE, Kelsey Lu, and Empress Of. Charli XCX will no longer be playing the festival.
It is still set at its original location, the L.A. State Historic Park and a portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to The Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles. The organization encourages and empowers women who are homeless and formerly homeless. Fans who purchased tickets for the original date will be honored for the new date. Refunds are also available by contacting Front Gate Tickets at order-support@
Festival curator and headliner Lykke Li recently collaborated with Oscar winner Mark Ronson on his song “Late Night Feelings,” along with its music video. The song will be featured on Ronson’s upcoming album of the same name, set for a June 21 release date.
