The Appleseed Cast To Release The Fleeting Light of Impermanence For June 2019 Release

Experimental, emo and post-rock band The Appleseed Cast is set to release their ninth studio album, and first in six years, appropriately titled The Fleeting Light of Impermanence, on June 28th via Graveface Records. The album’s first single “Time The Destroyer” is available on digital online retail outlets with Brooklyn Vegan. Click here to pre-order the new record/vinyl and digital album.

Originating out of Kansas, The Appleseed Cast was an emo outfit founded by singer-guitarist Christopher Crisci and guitarist Aaron Pillar. The Fleeting Light of Impermanence was recorded in three different studios with the assistance from current band member Sean Bergman, Ben Kimball, and Nick Fredrickson. The new album expresses their understanding of love, facing darkness and those vulnerabilities and happiness in life.

“Time The Destroyer” released as the new album teaser is a six-minute single. The song opens with a mysterious atmosphere by starting with low-and-deep drummer, long-drawn-out strings and beautiful keyboard melody. Leader Christopher Crisci adds his vocal to gradually increase emotion and energy after a two-minute-long intro. The whole song finally reaches its peak until guitar and percussion crash in, while turbulent rhythm that tumbles through a vortex of fuzzy and wailing riff. “Time The Destroyer” is a transcendent ebb-and-flow mélange, natural but aggressive, leaving an imaginary and natural vision.
