Ladyland Festival: Allie X, Mykki Blanco & More @ Brooklyn Mirage 6/28-6/29

If you don’t have plans to close out Pride Month, then mark your calendar: the LadyLand Festival is taking over Brooklyn Mirage for two whole days at the end of this month. Featuring a lineup of over 25 artists, LadyLand has an eclectic mix of pop, soul, punk rock, and more that will grace its stage throughout the weekend. Currently, 2-day General Admission tickets cost $125, while Friday GA and VIP tickets are $75 and $125 and Saturday GA and VIP tickets are $65 and $125 respectively.

The LadyLand lineup is nearly as diverse as the community it is celebrating. Main headliners kicking off the event include vibrant standout DJ Honey Dijon, Canadian-based pop songstress Allie X, and upcoming rapper-turned-activist Mykki Blanco. The rest of these evenings are peppered by dance and power tracks from the likes of punk-rockers Pussy Riot, genderfluid smooth performance artist Dorian Electra, and “Chicago’s next teen sensation” Kidd Kenn.

With such a stacked lineup, the LadyLand Festival is looking to celebrate Pride all night long. Doors for both Friday and Saturday open at 5:00pm, and the party continues throughout the night until 4:00am the next morning. To keep you busy (and so you can rest & fuel up between the dancing), there will be plenty of food and lounge areas available throughout the course of the evening.

Get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate Pride the right way!

Melissa Aiello: Hi there, nice to meet you! My name is Melissa and I am a 24-year-old passionate lover of all things related to music and live entertainment. I've been singing since the second grade, and playing guitar for the past five years. I grew up in a fairly musical household, with my grandfather breaking out his accordion and starting sing-a-longs at every family gathering. It was here that I began falling in love with music and its power to change moods, emotions, and lives. My taste in music goes far and wide - you name it, I'll (probably) listen to it. My hundreds of Spotify playlists include everything from Biggie to ABBA to the Jonas Brothers (thank GOD they're back together) to Dolly Parton and everything in-between. I aim for my little corner of the internet to spread love and positivity for all this beautiful music, and give you the opportunity to see or hear artists you may otherwise have not heard of.
