Multi-faceted instrumentalist and musician Cisco Adler has released a brand new single and a visualizer supporting the track. The song is called “Sunday Vibe,” and features accompaniment by G. Love. The song was released with the announcement of Adler’s upcoming album, a project which will be titled Hippieland. The album will be out June 14 and is aimed to embrace the summer moods and vibes that Adler has focused on throughout his career. “Sunday Vibe” is the second single released by Adler for the project so far, following his release of “Somethin’ More” earlier this year. The album was recorded at the coastal Bananabeat Studios in Malibu and, unsurprisingly, will be released under Bananabeat Records.
Cisco Adler has been making music since the early 2000s, creating both solo material and collaborating with a variety of artists. Adler has always focused on creating relaxing and generally uplifting tracks. One of Adler’s most famous works comes from his collaboration with rapper Aaron Smith. Together the two combined to create Shwayze, a duo which had two big summer hits in 2008. The songs “Buzzin’” and “Corona and Lime” both climbed the US Hot 100 chart and became classic summer hip hop songs. Since then, Adler has focused on a variety of projects and is now turning his attention solely towards the release of his upcoming solo album.
The recently released “Sunday Vibe” single fits perfectly into the style of music Adler is known for, with its relaxing hook and guitar melody. The visualizer released alongside the song is relatively simple, showcasing a cartoon beach with two friends relaxing and smoking in the sunshine. If this track is anything to go by, the full release of Hippieland will be perfect for sunny summer days. With its release set at the middle of June, it seems that was exactly what was on Adler’s mind as well when planning the album. The full track list for Hippieland was also released alongside the album announcement. It can be found below along with the visualizer for “Sunday Vibe.”
