“Most of the EP is inspired by people and places from my past,” said Anand. “I reimagined certain moments and tried to replicate them sonically -Like revisiting the same feelings I had at the time through sound Many of the synth phrases came about spontaneously through improvisation. Once I found a phrase that I liked, I would loop it and build around it. We started Pineal Labs to help people achieve similar benefits to meditation through music – like relaxation, better sleep, and decreased stress. We will be monitoring listeners brainwaves through portable EEG technology to see if our music induces alpha waves, or a meditative state, while analyzing the data to improve our future releases.”
