The Band CAMINO @ Webster Hall 9/12

You read it right: alt-pop’s “normal guys” The Band CAMINO will be headlining a show at Webster Hall on Thursday, September 12th. This 16-and-over event will open its doors at 7:00pm, with the show beginning an hour later at 8:00pm sharp. Tickets are going for a mere $20 each for General Admission in advance, and $25 for those of you indecisive folk who choose to buy the day of the show.

Based out of country capital Nashville, TN, this trio knows how to get crowds hooked on their music. With only a few EPs under their belt, The Band CAMINO has made a crash landing into the world of alt-pop, proving the notion that quality over quantity can certainly deliver exceptional results when making music. Each of their releases is filled with heartfelt, infectious gems that have proven themselves many times over, listen after listen. Hits such as “My Thoughts on You,” “Berenstein,” “Less Than I Do” and “I Spend Too Much Time In My Room” altogether carry a spectrum of sounds that cater to the many facets and songwriting elements shaping alternative and indie music as of late.

It’s no coincidence that the word “camino” means “path, road, or journey” – The Band CAMINO has been on quite a journey of their own so far, and they are certainly not stopping anytime soon.

Melissa Aiello: Hi there, nice to meet you! My name is Melissa and I am a 24-year-old passionate lover of all things related to music and live entertainment. I've been singing since the second grade, and playing guitar for the past five years. I grew up in a fairly musical household, with my grandfather breaking out his accordion and starting sing-a-longs at every family gathering. It was here that I began falling in love with music and its power to change moods, emotions, and lives. My taste in music goes far and wide - you name it, I'll (probably) listen to it. My hundreds of Spotify playlists include everything from Biggie to ABBA to the Jonas Brothers (thank GOD they're back together) to Dolly Parton and everything in-between. I aim for my little corner of the internet to spread love and positivity for all this beautiful music, and give you the opportunity to see or hear artists you may otherwise have not heard of.
