Reel Big Fish and The Aquabats Announce July 2019 Tour Dates

Ska punk band Reel Big Fish and rock band The Aquabats are teaming up for a tour for July 2019, with features from the sister punk duo Dog Party. The North American tour will be brief, with only twelve shows in under three weeks. Though the latter two bands have not released music recently, Reel Big Fish debuted their new album Life Sucks…Let’s Dance! at the end of December 2018, presenting hope for a new wave of ska music. As one fan aptly commented on the “Life Sucks…Let’s Dance!” YouTube audio, “S K A  N E V E R  D I E S.”

The three groups will be an interesting dynamic, each with a different take on classic Californian music from ska to rock to garage. Each artist has a unique funky and upbeat style that is sure to keep crowds on their feet throughout the performances. The trio will be hitting stages across the U.S. from White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas to Club LA in Destin, Florida before two special appearances in Canada, ending the trip at The Palace Theatre in Calgary, without Dog Party. The tour will be an iconic showcase of the bands, hopefully with new music from The Aquabats and Dog Party soon to come.
