Kool Keith Announces New Album KEITH for July 2019 Release and Shares New Song “Zero Fux” Featuring B-Real of Cypress Hill

Rapper Kool Keith has announced new eponymous album KEITH, set for release July 12, 2019. Kool Keith has released the album’s outro song “Zero Fux,” featuring B-Real of hip hop group Cypress Hill. The song has a simple message, repeated in the title and chorus, with a beat reminiscent of early Pusha-T. Keith states in a press release regarding the album that the song sounds “so emperor” and that the album is “so well rounded and put together without being overproduced. Track to Track it’s real raw art.”

Keith has been performing since 1983, featuring or soloing on over thirty five studio albums and many more EPs, mixtapes and features on other artists’ songs, such as “Diesel Power” by The Prodigy and “DDT” by Jurrasic 5. Keith’s lyricism features dark humor, profanity and sexual themes, which he dubs as “pornocore,” as demonstrated in “Zero Fux.”

The rest of the unreleased album includes features from Paul Wall, Psycho Les and Jeru the Damaja and was entirely produced by Psycho Les, of the Queens hip hop group Beatnuts. Keith has shows lined up for this summer in the U.S. following the full release of the album, as fans hope that the shows manifest into a full tour featuring the work from KEITH. And if you’re not a fan? Keith gives “Zero Fux.”
