Brian Wilson and The Zombies Announce Fall 2019 Co-Headlining Something Great From ’68 Tour Dates Performing Classic Albums in Full

Brian Wilson and The Zombies have announced a co-headlining tour set to begin this fall. Appropriately titled the “Something Great from ’68” tour,  According to the Brooklyn Vegan,  The Zombies will be playing their 1968 album in its entirety, along with songs released throughout their catalog. Wilson will be playing The Beach Boys’ 1968 album Friends and their 1971 album Surf’s Up.  The tour is set to kick off Aug. 31 in Las Vegas and will continue its trek on the west coast, including stops in Indio, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Oakland, Seattle, Portland, and Detroit, concluding on the east coast at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Brian Wilson recently played the BeachLife Music Festival in Redondo Beach, CA this past weekend alongside Willie Nelson, Violent Femmes, Ziggy Marley, and Jason Mraz to name few. Wilson will have some shows prior to the co-headlining jaunt, some final performances of his album Pet Sounds in Red Bank, New Jersey, Baltimore, Maryland, and Nashville, Tennesse. Fellow tour mates The Zombies have shows on the east coast including stops in Cleveland, Ridgefield, Fall River, and Dewey Beach.
