Josh Homme, acclaimed guitarist of the band Queens Of The Stone Age, has taken to social media to tease the release of another set of Desert Sessions recordings. A tradition started by Homme decades ago, The Desert Sessions are a collection of recordings made by Homme and his fellow musicians out in the desert of California. After finding a secluded spot outside of Joshua Tree, California, the musicians simply record as much as they can while surrounded by nature. The last sessions released were numbers 9 and 10, which were put out in 2003. Fans are sure to be incredibly excited for these new editions, since Homme has not held Desert Session on well over a decade.

In an Instagram post made on the Queens Of The Stone Age account yesterday morning, the band alludes to new music through the use of various hashtags. Tagging the post with #desert, #sessions, #11 and #12, along with many other tags, it is practically confirmed that this is what the band is planning. This would explain the relatively quiet period the band has been in lately, as their last new music was released back in 2017. Fans of Queens Of The Stone Age are now eagerly awaiting more information regarding the release of more of the famed Desert Sessions series. The post made teasing the sessions can be found below.
