FKJ with Lou Phelps at Union Transfer 5/9

FKJ, aka French Kiwi Juice, is a newwave music producer originally from France. Emerging from the French house music scene of the early 2010s, FKJ creates a mellow electronic sound that crosses multiple genres. With dreamy instrumentals and R&B vibes, FKJ has gained international attention and more than 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify. FKJ has honed his live set performing at sold-out shows throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and the US. He created the hit track “Tadow” with R&B singer Masego, which is featured on Masego’s 2018 album, Lady Lay. Experience a little bit of FKJ’s magic by watching him record “Tadow” along with Masego in this video, where you not only see FKJ’s incredible self-taught musical talent, but how he mixes in organic instrumentals to create a more grounded electronic sound. If that video gets you properly mesmerized, you’re definitely going to want to see him perform live.

Opening for FKJ is Canadian rapper Lou Phelps. With catchy electronic beats, Lou creates accessible club-rap tracks you’ll want to get down to. Lou started making music in 2011 when he started the rap group The Celestics, along with his brother, award-winning producer KAYTRANADA. In 2017 Lou released his debut solo project, 001: Experiments, and has since released his 2018 album 002/LOVE ME. You can check out his and his latest single “word.” on Spotify.
