Rising group Kindness has released a new song called “Lost Without” featuring Seinabo Sey. The song was co-written by Kelela and is much like the singer’s previous efforts with infectious disco and jazz influences. This marks their first release of new music since “Cry Everything” featuring Robyn. Their last full LP release was Otherness, released in 2014 and was dubbed as “Dream infused, UK flavored, Vocal Pop.” Since it’s release, they have been working on other projects including Solange’s Grammy-Award winning album A Seat at the Table, and Blood Orange’s critically acclaimed albums Freetown Sound and Negro Swan. They were featured alongside Solange, Kelela, and Blood Orange in Calvin Klein ads and have also been traveling the world providing groovy DJ sets across the world.
With the release of the new song, Kindness will be heading out on a mini-tour with a new live band this summer. The tour is set to begin June 4 in New York and will then make the trek to Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, and Oslo. See the full itinerary below.
