KROQ Weenie Roast Announces 2019 Lineup Featuring The Regrettes, Silversun Pickups and The Lumineers

The lineup for 2019’s KROQ Weenie Roast has been released. The lineup, on Saturday, June 8th,  includes artists The Lumineers, Silversun Pickups, The Revivalists, Catfish and The Bottlemen, X Ambassadors, Flora Cash, Smith & Thell, and The Regrettes. The Regrettes announced their presence at the show on twitter. The Regrettes first released their studio album, Feel Your Feelings Fool!, in 2017. Since then, they’ve released couple EP’s, Hey and Attention Seeker, and were the opening act for Twenty One Pilots’ earlier this year. The Silversun Pickups will have new music set to be released. Their fifth album, Widow’s Weeds, will come out this summer on June 7. Fans are likely to hear some new singles from them at the Weenie Roast concert.

Held annually in California, the music concert is put on by LA’s popular rock radio station, KROQ-FM. Most years it took place at Irvine Meadows/Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. This year it will be taking place at a new location, Doheny State Beach in Orange County.

Past famous performers include Lana Del Rey, Imagine Dragons, Incubus, Lorde, Paramore, Cage The Elephant, and The Revivalists. Dating back to 1993, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, White Zombie, Blink-182, No Doubt, have put on shows throughout the event’s twenty six year run. Attendees can listen to anything from reggae and hip hop, to heavy metal and punk rock music at the concert.

Presale tickets will be available on Thursday, May 2nd; general public tickets can be purchased Friday, May 3rd, directly on the KROQ Weenie Roast website. Proceeds benefit Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association, Heal the Bay and the Surfrider Foundation. The charities are geared toward helping in the protection of marine refuge, the park’s beaches, coastal cleanup, and watersheds.
