Rhiannon Giddens Announces New Album with Francesco Turrisi there is no Other For May 2019 Release

The GRAMMY winning artist Rhiannon Giddens just announced the release of her new album there is no Other with the Italian musician Francesco Turrisi according to Nonesuch. The album is set to come out on May 3rd of this year through Nonesuch Records and was produced by the genre bending producer and musician Joe Henry. So far, Giddens has released one song off the upcoming album titled “I’m on My Way.” Additionally, Giddens will be touring through November of 2019 for her anticipated album.

“I’m on my Way” is an incredibly dynamic piece which captures themes of sorrow, otherness, and hope. Her soulful voice rings out softly and deftly in her performance and her skills are showcased in the many instruments she plays from the violin to the banjo.
