A little over a week ago, world famous producer Deadmau5 announced his upcoming Cube V3 tour. The tour is set to begin later this year in September and run until February of next year; taking Deadmau5 across the United States. Now, singer Lights has announced via Instagram that she will be accompanying Deadmau5 on tour. In the post shared to social media by Lights, she states that she will be singing at the Cube V3, however she did not say specifically what she would be performing. No matter what exactly Lights will be performing on the Cube V3 tour, it is an event that fans will need to be sure to see.
Earlier this month the two performed together at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, when Deadmau5 brought the electronic pop singer up on stage during his set. The two performed two tracks from Deadmau5’s discography, “Drama Free” and “Raise Your Weapon.” The track “Drama Free” is from Deadmau5’s most recent album, 2018’s mau5ville: Level 2, and features Lights. On “Raise Your Weapon,” Lights performed the vocal parts in place of the original singer. If this is a sample of what is to come on the Cube V3 tour, then fans can most likely expect Lights to perform on many Deadmau5’s tracks both new and old. Tickets for the Cube V3 tour are already on sale at the tour’s website. Lights’ Instagram post announcing her performing at the tour along with a video of her performing alongside Deadmau5 at Ultra Music Festival can be found below.
