Photos: Dream Theater at the Wiltern, Los Angeles

Dream Theater are currently on a very special tour that is both aimed to celebrate 20 years since the release of Metropolis Pt. 2 and to support their new album Distance Over Time. They played two shows in LA, on March 21st and March 22nd at the Wiltern Theatre. Both shows were seated, had no opening bands and consisted of two acts, first being the songs from the new album, and then songs from Metropolis. The great production, including lights, the huge screen behind, the epic stage setting and even details, like La Brea having two different mic stands for different acts, is worth comment. The first mic stand even had the skull from the new album’s artwork. The group will continue their US tour until May 1st.
