The Cranberries Releases Title Track From Their Final Album

The Cranberries has released the title track to their upcoming album, titled “In The End.” Also serving as the last album on the band’s final record, it serves as a tribute to the late Dolores O’ Riordan. In a press release, member Fergal Lawler stated “What a way to finish the record. To have “In The End” as the last song is just perfect.” Noel Hogan then added “It speaks for itself, it just is a lovely feeling and it’s a gorgeous song” “In The End” follows the band’s two previously released singles “All Over Now” and “When It’s Over,” both released earlier this year. The album of the same name is set for an April 26th release date and has already received critical acclaim. Mojo stated it is “11 songs of real quality….A fitting, touching elegy for a bewitching talent” and Hi-Fi Choice stating “A fitting and powerful final chapter.”  See the full tracklist below.

Hogan then recalls the last time he did speak with O’Ridoran about the upcoming record reflecting on new beginnings. I remember talking to her that summer and she said ‘I’m starting all over here’ and a lot of the songs discuss that.” O’Ridoran tragically passed away last year with a result of drowning in a hotel bathtub after consuming a large amount of alcohol.
