Christine and the Queens Covers David Bowie’s “Heroes” During Coachella 2019 Set

With night two of Coachella 2019 under way, Héloïse Adelaide Letissier, also known by her stage name, Christine and the Queens took the stage for her second outing at the California music festival. As part of her Saturday night set, was a cover of the late David Bowie’s classic “Heroes.” Watch the performance below.

The song was originally part of Bowie’s 12th studio album under the same name. It was released in October of 1977 and written by Bowie and Brian Eno. “Heroes” was named NME’s album of the year and is considered one of Bowie’s well received and best known songs from his music category. It has been covered by a variety of artists including Letissier.

Christine and the Queens recently released her second album, the critically acclaimed, Chris, six months ago and earlier this week shared the latest visuals for her new single, “Comme Si.” Christine and the Queens are currently on the road supporting the new album. This summer, Letissier will perform on stages at few more music festivals including Boston Calling as well as joining Florence and the Machine on their Spring dates.
