Grammy winning artist Anderson .Paak just released a new single from his upcoming album Ventura. The track, “Make It Better,” premiered as Zane Lowe’s Beats World Record and features Motown legend Smokey Robinson. The single came with an accompanied video directed by Grammy-nominated director Andy Hines.
The new album will be released April 12 by Aftermath Entertainment and will be distributed exclusively by 12 Tone Music, LLC. The album will feature guest artists such as André 3000, Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, Nate Dogg and Lalah Hathaway. Venutra follows Paak’s 2018 hit album Oxnard.
The rapper is setting out on a nationwide tour this spring and summer in support of Ventura. Stops include New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago among many others. Thundercat will be in support of the Best Teef in the Game tour and select dates will feature support from Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, Mac DeMarco and Jessie Reyez.
Anderson .Paak will be performing at both Coachella weekends in addition to several other festivals such as Boston Calling. His tour begins May 17 with the first stop being at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tennessee. The instrumentalist extraordinaire is also fresh off of a Grammy award for Best Rap Performance.
