Ozzy Osbourne Postpones The Rest of 2019 Performances

Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will postpone the rest of his 2019 tour dates, inclusive of performances in North America and Europe, as he recovers from recent bout of pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and legend fell in his Los Angeles home, requiring him to endure surgery last month.

According to a press release, Osbourne’s fall aggravated injuries he sustained from his serious 2003 ATV accident. He will remain under doctor’s care in Los Angeles for the meantime.

Osbourne released a statement about this recent incident, stating, “I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day… I will fully recover… I will finish my tour… I will be back!”

Osbourne’s 2019 shows have been postponed until next year in 2020, but fans are being asked to hold onto their original 2019 tickets, as they will be honored for rescheduling dates. Osbourne’s 2020 North American dates have been announced below, with his rescheduled 2020 UK and European dates being announced in the coming weeks. The exact date for the Hollywood Bowl show in Los Angeles has not been determined other than it will be in July 2020.

I am always here to share someone else's story, to uplift a voice in any community.
