Swedish rock band Ghost is ready to raise up a Satanic hardcore wave in the Fall of 2019. The band has released their new Ghost album in 2018. Band member Tobias Forge confirmed that the recently-created Cardinal Copia character will return to its eccentric on-stage presence coming along with the album. Today, the Grammy award-winners Ghost officially announced the tour dates of 2019 “Ultimate Tour Named Death,” tour produced by Live Nation
The tour is the celebration of the success of Grammy-nominated 2018 album Prequelle. The two-month-long trek will kick off on September 13 at Rabobank Theatre, Bakersfield, CA, and wrap up on October 26 at Cool Insuring Arena, Glens Falls, NY.
The tour follows Ghost’s previously supportive performance for Metallica’s 25-date “WorldWide” European Stadium Tour and will be supported by three-time Grammy-nominated alternative-rock band Nothing More, who will bring their Grammy-nominated 2017 disc, The Stories We Tell Ourselves, to stage.
Noted by hooky melodies, extravagant costumes and outrageous stage, Ghost return the stage with Cardinal Copia and the seven Nameless Ghouls as a memorial performance to the famous Papa Emeritus character. The “Ultimate Tour Named Death” tour ticket pre-sales start on April 2 at 10 a.m. PST, on-sales begin on April 5 at 10a.m.PST. Here are the music and tickets details.
