Carly Rae Jepsen dropped “Party For One” as the premiere teaser of her 2019 upcoming album last year, now it’s the time to unveil the whole album. Dedicated will be released on May 17 via School Boy/Interscope Records. Following the release of Dedicated, Carly Rae Jepsen will embark her summer headline tour. The tour will start on June 27 at House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, making stops in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Nashville, New York, before ending on August 10 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.
Dedicated marks Jepsen’s first new album since her 2015 album E*MO*TION, which not only gained lots of attention and positive reviews from top media outlets including TIME, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, People, Stereogum, Vulture, Complex and Noisey but also impressed fans. E*MO*TION Side B was the bonus for her fans in return which released one year later. Before that, the “Call Me Maybe” girl already received big popularity over 47 countries and earned her 2012 Grammy nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year. Jepsen undoubtfully reached her career climax in 2012, but she is also fully prepared for the surprise this year.
As for the tour tickets, partnering with PLUS1, $1 of every ticket fee will be donated to Crisis Text Line. The $1 of every ticket fee in San Francisco venue will go to The Trevor Project. Pre-order of Dedicated will receive the purchase code for early access to the tour tickets opening on April 2. Tickets go on sale April 5. For more information click here.
