Big Business debuted their song “Time and Heat” via Ultimate Classic Rock. This is their third song off of their eagerly awaited sixth full-length album, The Beast You Are.
Big Business is a two-piece band comprised of bassist-vocalist Jared Warren and drummer-vocalist Coady Willis, two veterans from the local alternative metal scene. They are known for their sludgy metal sound after their formation in Seattle in 2003. Their last album released is Command Your Weather which came out in 2016.
The duo said of their two-piece incarnation: “It gives us more room to be weirder in certain aspects and try different things. It makes sense because that’s how we established ourselves in the beginning and how we learned to write songs together, it was just the two of us.”
The release of their new song comes right after the announcement of Big Business’s Spring 2019 United States tour. They will be hitting the road with Sleep with their first stop being in Las Vegas on May 27.
Big Business is set to release their upcoming album, The Beast You Are, featuring “Time and Heat” on April 12. This will be the first new music from the band in three years and will also feature the lead single “Let Them Grind.”
