Maggie Rogers @ Radio City Music Hall 10/1-10/2

NYU graduate and Pharrell-approved pop artist Maggie Rogers will headline for two nights at Radio City Music Hall on October 1 and October 2. Empress Of is the special guest at these shows, which begin at 8:00pm and open doors an hour earlier at 7:00pm. Although tickets only went on sale today, they have become extremely limited at their original pricing – ranging from $29.50 for select mezzanine seats to $55 in the orchestra. Get yours before they sell out (or before you shell out hundreds on StubHub)! If you decide to purchase a ticket, get one for your little ones, too – this show is for all ages.

Maggie Rogers hit the public eye a few years ago after legendary producer Pharrell Williams sung her praises after hearing her single “Alaska” during a masterclass at the Clive Davis School at New York University. Since then, Rogers’s popularity has only skyrocketed, garnering a feature piece in the New York Times and nearly 4.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Her major label debut album, Heard It In A Past Life, features the notable “Alaska” amongst many other tracks that certainly prove her longevity as a singer/songwriter in today’s crowded musical landscape.

Supporting Maggie Rogers during her world tour is Empress Of, AKA singer Lorely Rodriguez. Based in Los Angeles with Honduran roots, Empress Of has quite a few releases to her name. One of her most popular tracks is “Why Don’t You Come On,” a collaboration with DJDS and Khalid, which landed a spot on the Billboard charts.

With these superstars-in-the-making on the same bill, these are surely to be nights to remember.

Melissa Aiello: Hi there, nice to meet you! My name is Melissa and I am a 24-year-old passionate lover of all things related to music and live entertainment. I've been singing since the second grade, and playing guitar for the past five years. I grew up in a fairly musical household, with my grandfather breaking out his accordion and starting sing-a-longs at every family gathering. It was here that I began falling in love with music and its power to change moods, emotions, and lives. My taste in music goes far and wide - you name it, I'll (probably) listen to it. My hundreds of Spotify playlists include everything from Biggie to ABBA to the Jonas Brothers (thank GOD they're back together) to Dolly Parton and everything in-between. I aim for my little corner of the internet to spread love and positivity for all this beautiful music, and give you the opportunity to see or hear artists you may otherwise have not heard of.
