Perry Farrell Announces First New Solo Album in 8 Years Kind Heaven for June 2019 Release

Perry Farrell, the legendary frontman of Jane’s Addiction and the co-founder of Lollapalooza will be releasing a new album on June 7th via BMG. His new album, Kind Heaven is the first released album with new music in a decade. Kind Heaven features many incredible artists like Elliot Easton, the guitarist of The Cars, Taylor Hawkins, the drummer of Foo Fighters, and Dhani Harrison. The album was also co-produced by Perry Farrell and David Bowie’s associate, Tony Visconti. This amazing collaboration piece will feature rock, symphony, and electronic tones that create a musical masterpiece. The album was in collaboration with The Kind Heaven Orchestra who provide a symphony style to the piece. Perry Farrell and The King Heaven Orchestra will be performing across the U.S and at this year’s Lollapalooza. They will be performing in big cities like Paris, Chicago, New York, Stockholm to London. Throughout his new album, there will be large-scale orchestral scores by Harry Gregson and feature duets with Etty Lau Farrell.

“Pirate Punk Politician” is Pharrell’s first single and will explore the current state of our planet. It is a protest song against tactics of oppression. The song is inspired by all the young people who have been fighting for movements, Pussy Riot, Raymond Pettibon, and Double Speak. All these groups, people and ideas challenge the mainstream and emphasize progressive ideas. They are strong in what they stand for and do not step down to fight from what they believe is right. All of Farrell’s new songs take the listener on a musical adventure and confront life’s questions.
