After a long wait, the Dreamville Music Festival announced their lineup for 2019. Big name hip hop and R&B artists will be performing including J Cole, SZA, and Big Sean.

Out of the many well known artists in the Dreamville lineup, SZA is expected to be one of the most exciting to see. The Grammy nominated singer and songwriter will support her debut studio album ctrl. Hit songs off the album include “Love Galore”, “The Weekend”, and “Supermodel”.

Additionally, Big Sean will be taking the Dreamville stage this year. Big Sean’s last solo album I Decided was critically acclaimed. Recently, he collaborated with Metro Boomin and created Double or Nothing.

The Dreamville Festival was created by J Cole back in 2011 in an attempt to pay homage and give back to his home state of North Carolina. The proceeds from the festival are typically used to support different charities like the Dreamville Foundation which helps at risk youth get a headstart in life. This year the proceeds will go towards the Dreamville Foundation, the Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy, and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. Naturally, because this is J Cole’s festival, he will be headlining and closing for Dreamville.

The festival will have a number of on site activities including putt putt golf, sand sculpture, photo booths, and a beer garden. Additionally, there will also be an area for people to get a taste of food and beer local to North Carolina and Raleigh.

Tickets are currently available to purchase here. General admission tickets are currently 119 dollars.
