Singer-songwriter Samuel Beam, best known by his stage name Iron & Wine, is set to tour major parts of European this upcoming summer, alongside indie rock band Calexico. The two groups share a certain partnership that dates back to 2005, when they released a joint EP together titled, In The Reins.
Beam shared on his Twitter the dates for their Italian tour, which begins on July 22 at Giardino della Triennale in Milan. The three artists will also visit Gardone Riviera, Roma, and Firenze, before ending their Italian tour in Monforte d’Alba on 26 July. Apart from Italy, Iron & Wine and Calexico will also be stopping in other parts of Europe like Vienna, Austria, Hamburg, Germany, and Cambridge, United Kingdom, amongst others. The full list of European dates can be found on Iron & Wine’s website.
In 2017, Iron & Wine released his 6th full length studio album, Beast Epic, which was a rich and emotional album filled with some great acoustic guitar arrangements. Last year, Beam released a new single “What Hurts Most” as well as an EP titled Weed Garden in August.
