Tpnight, in honor of 2019 International Women’s Day, a whole bevy of immensely talented ladies will take the stage in Los Angeles for the Women Who Rock concert. The lineup is pretty jaw-dropping, with artists like St. Vincent, Karen O, Lykke Li, Meg Myers and K. Flay just a few of the artists that will take the stage tonight. Check out the live stream below:
2017 saw St. Vincent release her incredible album MASSEDUCTION, which landed at #2 on our best albums of 2017 list. Last year she released a reinterpretation of that album titled MassEducation.
Karen O is best known for her work with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, though they haven’t released anything new since 2013’s Mosquito. However, Karen O has been anything but idle, releasing music through a variety of projects, including adding vocals to Daniele Luppi’s & Parquet Courts’ MILANO album, new record with producer Danger Mouse called Lux Prima in the works and most recently shared a cover of The Smashing Pumpkins hit “Bullet with Butterfly Wings.”
Meg Myers released an album in 2018 called Take Me To The Disco. It produced few singles including the title track, “Numb” and “Jealous Sea.” Lykke Li also released an album in 2018, the pop-oriented so sad so sexy. Donna Missal and K. Flay will also be playing at the show.
