graves @ The Parish 3/8

The Far From Here Tour makes its stop in Austin this Friday March 8th. Hawaiian-born electronic producer graves, known to some as Christian Mochizuki, will be releasing his EP the day of his Austin performance. The show is expected to showcase graves’ newly released music – most recently “Reset,” the interlude to Far From Here, along with “Arcus,” co-produced with EDM artist RL Grime. The night is expected to deliver for graves’ fans and electronic lovers alike, as long as you’re into some sick beats.

With the dark and provoking Hex Cougar and their new song “Silence” opening for the night, your PLUR hearts should be full. Both graves and Hex Cougar lie in an area of electronic music that pushes the boundaries of the genre’s definition. Each artist mixes dark trap-like beats with futuristic-avant garde melodies, leading concert goers on a musical roller coaster that isn’t to forget.
