Cardi B Shares Video for “Please Me” Featuring Bruno Mars

Cardi B released a new video for her latest single with Bruno Mars, “Please Me.” The video shows Cardi B and Bruno Mars singing to each other in various colorful surroundings throughout Los Angeles. It was directed by Bruno Mars and Florent Dechard and is currently streaming on Cardi B’s official YouTube channel and is available at all DSPs and streaming services. Just this week it debuted at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

Cardi B just received “Best Rap Album” at the 61st Grammy’s for her RIAA two time platinum certified “Invasion of Privacy.” With this feat she made history as the first solo female artist to win that category. “Please Me”, produced by Bruno Mars and The Stereotypes, arrived days after this accomplishment. This became the second collaboration between two Grammy winning artists.

In addition to winning “Best Rap Album,” Cardi B was nominated for several other categories at the Grammy Awards including “Record of the Year,” “Album of the Year” and “Best Rap Performance.”  To honor her role on Maroon 5’s ‘Girls Like You” she received an additional recognition in the “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” category. To top it off, she received three 2018 AMA wins in the categories “Favorite Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop,” “Favorite Song – Soul/R&B” and “Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop.” Cardi had an extremely successful 2018. She was the first female rapper to have two number one songs. In addition, she is considered one of the most honored artists of the year while receiving 14 nominations for the iHeartRadio Music Awards that will take place March 14 in Los Angeles.

Cardi is also spreading her talent while appearing on the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR’s Spring Fashion issue and being named one of Entertainment Weekly’s “Entertainers of the Year.” She was also featured in Pepsi’s Super Bowl commercial “More Than OK” among Steve Carrel and Lil Jon.

Cardi B has quickly become one of the most high profile stars of the current era, and her success is not slowly down. Fans will be excited to see where her talents take her in the upcoming year. Watch the video for “Please Me” below.
