The past several years Culture Collide has taken over Rainey St. for SXSW brining several parties and days of music. For SXSW 2019 Collide and StubHub will partner to bring the StubHub Sound Stage for two days of day and night showcases at Banger’s. StubHub Sound Stage will take place Wednesday March 13th and Thursday March 14th.
Some of the arists scheduled to play the day time shows at StubHub Sound Stage will be Zach Taylor also known as Dreamer Boy, who performs a lo-fi pop sound or as he likes to call it “CowboyPop” a mix of his lo-fi pop sound and where he resides, Nashville. Just Loud brings his funk, dance, soul, rock, r&b sound all mixed into one to the Sound Stage. His new track Soul Train featuring Debbie Harry of Blondie builds at the beginning but then it feels as if you are in a moderen disco club. Alternative group Liily, teenagers from Los Angeles have slowly been playing bigger venues having started at house parties and warehouses. Recently they’ve moved from house parties to nightclubs and their fan base has been expanding as each venue has become bigger and they look to grow their fan base as they come to Austin and play at Banger’s.
