Electro-pop duo Sylvan Esso are set to reinvent the music tour experience with their upcoming run of shows labelled “WITH”. The North Carolina duo is comprised of singer Amelia Heath and producer Nick Sanborn. What makes Sylvan Esso’s upcoming tour so unique is the collaborative nature of the performances, which will see an ensemble of the duo’s eight favorite musicians performing together with them over the course of the tour. The WITH tour will feature Sylvan Esso’s collaborative performances with Hand Habits, Daughters of Swords, Flock of Dimes, and Molly Sarlé, in six shows across the United States.
The WITH tour is set for November 2019. The first show with Hand Habits is scheduled for November 14 at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California. The tour will then shift across the nation for two nights at The Beacon Theatre in New York City, New York, where Sylvan Esso will be joined by Daughter of Swords. Next, Sylvan Esso will head to Nashville, Tennessee, where they will be joined by Flock of Dimes at The Ryman Auditorium on November 20. Finally, the tour will end with two nights at the Durham Performing Arts Center with Molly Sarlé.
Sylvan Esso is a highly acclaimed duo who have received wide praise and a Grammy nomination for their 2017 album, What Now. Heath is also part of the female folk trio Mountain Man, while Sanborn holds a psychedelic folk background being from the band, Megafaun. Heath is also set to appear at this year’s Newport Folk Festival with Mountain Man. Check out Sylvan Esso’s intimate music video for “Signal,” which details the duo’s life on the road.
