Guns N’ Roses have confirmed plans for a new album via their lead guitarist Slash. Fans of the rock and roll legends have much to be excited for, with Slash revealing that the band has already started working on their slated record. But while this is exciting, the band has yet to reveal any concrete plans nor a timetable for their upcoming release.
In an interview with Japanese news critic Masanori Ito of “Rock City”, Slash touched on the band’s budding material but emphasized the fluidity of their plans. He stated:
It’s just, with Guns N’ Roses, you don’t go, ‘Oh, there is a plan, and it’s gonna be like this,’ because that’s not how it works.

It has been more than 10 years since Guns N’ Roses’ previous studio album, Chinese Democracy. In 2018, the band released a single titled “Shadow of Your Love,” as well as a 30th anniversary reissue boxset of their first album, Appetite of Destruction.
