Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will be canceling his upcoming tour dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan apart of his “No More Tours 2” tour. The rock and roll legend is currently recovering from Pneumonia and recently had to cancel his UK and European legs of his tour because of the illness. His wife Sharon Osbourne, released a statement for Ozzy, stating “Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part,” says Sharon Osbourne. “His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel.”
She also mentioned Ozzy’s current state on her daytime talk show The Talk on February 12. “He’s doing great. “He’s out of ICU and he’s doing great. He’s breathing on his own,” she revealed to the audience and co-hosts. He was also diagnosed with the flu not too long ago. His son Jack gave an update to fans on Instagram, with a selfie and caption “Fresh cut. New glasses. Sunny day. All is well. Now I’m off to see dad. He’s doing much better. Thanks for all your messages.”
No word yet if he will still perform his Rocklahoma set memorial day weekend with Disturbed, Shinedown, Bush and many more as well as his headlining Summerfest gig July 4th.
