After announcing a new album earlier this year, Glen Hansard has announced a US Tour in support of the new album, titled This Wild Willing. The tour will start in Europe, with his first show being in Amsterdam March 7th. After a quick pit stop in New York presenting the music of Van Morrison, the tour will proceed in Europe, with two back to back shows in Dublin, Derry, London, and Amsterdam concluding the European shows with a three-night stint in Berlin, Germany May 16th, 17th, and 19th. It will hit North America beginning May 29th in Boston, MA, along with Philadelphia and New York, wrapping up in Washington D.C. June 3rd.

Along with the tour dates, Hansard also released a short film documenting the creative process of the upcoming album, which features performances of two new songs from the record, “Don’t Settle,” and “Race to the Bottom.” Check out the video below.

Hansard also recently released the music video for the lead single “I’ll Be You, Be Me.” The video shows Hansard play the song in an old boxing ring located at the Jacques Lecouq International School of Theatre in Paris, France. The intimate performance had the audience in a whirlwind, dancing and swaying along to the song as Hansard is performing.
