Tekashi 6ix9ine Enters A Guilty Plead In His Federal Case

Daniel Hernandez, better known as rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, has pled guilty to nine charges in a federal crime case. Pitchfork has confirmed that Hernandez entered his guilty plea on January 23 and some of the charges include racketeering conspiracy, multiple firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. In the same hearing, Hernandez admitted to being a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, stating that he had helped other gang members rob people at gunpoint. He stated, “I did this to maintain or increase my own standing in Nine Trey.”

Hernandez was also charged in November 2018 and pleaded not guilty to all of the charges he faced. A trial date has been set for September 4th of this year. Weeks before this charge, drive-by shooting occurred while he was on set with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj shooting a music video in Beverly Hills. Police reported that several shots were fired at around 10:25 pm on November 8th.  West and Tekashi 6ix 9ine were present during the incident, while Minaj was scheduled to arrive for the shoot later that day. West quickly left after.

On June 2nd, 2018 the rapper also confirmed that he “paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him. The shooting took place in Manhattan.”
