Charlotte Gainsbourg Announces Spring 2019 Tour Dates

Charlotte Gainsburg announced her spring 2019 tour dates, including several shows in the United States. Others will take place throughout Europe. These performances will occur before and after her performance at Coachella 2019. Included in the list is a
makeup date at Brooklyn Steel in New York for a show that got cancelled due to severe weather.

Gainsbourg is a British-French actress and singer. She is the daughter of English actress Jane Birkin and composer Serge Gainsbourg. Her first debut in the music scene occurred in 1984 when she was 12 years old and she sang the song “Lemon Incest” with her father. By the age of 15 she released an album with her father. It was not until 20 years later that she released her own first album, 5:55. Now at age 47, she’s completed five albums and starred in 55 films, most notably Hollywood blockbusters 21 Grams and Melancholia. Her most recent EP, Take 2, demonstrates Gainsburg’s interpretive skills. The most notable and somewhat infamous track off the album is her cover of Kanye West’s “Runaway.” Gainsbourg now lives in New York with her three kids and partner Yvan Attal, French-Israeli actor and director.

Below are the upcoming spring tour dates for Gainsbourg’s shows. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 1 at noon and there is a pre-resale January 30 for AmEx holders.
