As January comes to an end and we creep one week closer to SXSW 2019, the festival has revealed their weekly lineup announcement. This week features another 100 or so artists, joining groups like Black Needle Noise, John Vanderslice, Nicole Atkins, Deerhunter and TEEN, and Amanda Palmer and Oh Sees at the massive festival in Austin, TX.

This week’s additions includes several established artists, most notably Southern California indie band Cherry Glazerr, Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, country singer-songwriter Steve Earle and his band The Dukes, indie pop artist Emilie Kahn – who is gearing up to release her second album Outro in February, Mikey Erg of influential pop-punk purveyors The Ergs, Chicago alt-country duo Robbie Fulks & Linda Gail Lewis, Austin troubadour Robert Ellis – who will release his excellent new album Texas Piano Man in February, North Carolina singer-songwriter Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, former Pavement member Scott Kannberg’s Spiral Stairs, Detroit indie rocker Stef Chura and Seattle band Valley Maker. Joining them at the festival are a bevy of lesser-known but still-exciting bands that help make SXSW’s music festival what it is.

The festival takes place on March 11-17 in downtown Austin. The bands will perform at a series of brick-and-mortar and pop-up venues, with music going on throughout the night for the entire festival.
