The Chris Cornell Tribute has continued on into Thursday morning, with Temple of The Dog taking the stage. Temple of the Dog features Jeff Ament on bass, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready on guitar and Matt Cameron on drums. Several excellent singers took the stage with this grunge supergroup, which was formed as a tribute itself. They played several of the band’s most well-known songs, and considering many of them were written as a direct response to the death of Andrew Wood so many decades ago, they served as a poignant monument to the late Cornell.
The first guest was Fiona Apple, who lent her powerful vocal talents to the song “All Night Thing.” Next was the curious appearance of R&B hitmaker Miguel, who performed along with the band on “Reach Down.” Miley Cyrus performed “Say Hello 2 Heaven.”

Next came the most well-known Temple of the Dog song, “Hunger Strike.” You’ll recall that song featured the dual vocals of Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder – Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile did a great job replicating that singing in their guest appearances during the set.
