Bayonne’s Beautiful New “Drastic Measures” Video Is An Exploration of Sounds and Colors

Bayonne is the studio project of Roger Sellers, who’s based out of Austin, TX. The electronic pop project is gearing up for the release of LP2, which will be called Drastic Measures and will be released on February 22 on Mom + Pop Records.

In anticipation of the new record, Bayonne has released a video for the title track “Drastic Measures.” The video is a gorgeous mash-up of sound and color, featuring collage-like imagery that features Sellers performing the song.

Thematically, the new album is about the ups and downs and tensions of life on the road, something that Sellers has experienced a lot of over his years in Bayonne. Compared with his previous album, Primitives, Drastic Measures has a more rigid structure and what’s described as “crystalline production.” The new album is also influenced by the sounds of ’60s orchestral pop, something that can be heard in the new song.
