Jawbox Announce First Live Shows in 22 Years with Summer 2019 Reunion Tour Dates

Jawbox, who haven’t toured since 1997, have announced they are embarking on a reunion tour in 2019. These will be their first shows in 22 years.

Jawbox was founded in 1989 by J. Robbins, Kim Coletta, and Adam Wade. They released their first full length album, Grippe, in 1991. Their latest release, the self-titled Jawbox LP, came out in 1996, and after another year of touring, the band broke up in 1997.

The band reunited briefly for a performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in 2009. This performance was a one-off, though, and there was no other talk of any other shows or a reunion of any kind.

The set with draw from their entire discography, especially For Your Own Special Sweetheart and their self-titled album.
