Muse has released a cover of Duran Duran’s iconic 80’s hit “Hungry Like the Wolf.” According to NME, the cover was originally performed on the French show Taratata last September. After some low-quality videos surfaced from the performance, the band treated fans to a studio version of the cover as a part of the Spotify Singles series. Listen to the nostalgia-filled cover below.
Late last year, the band began their nostalgia era with their latest album Simulation Theory, which is described as an 80’s “musical wet dream” The band also released a music video to their song “Pressure,” pulling inspiration from Back to the Future. The video also features actor Terry Crews, introducing the band as the Rocket Baby Dolls to perform at a high-school prom. Rocket Baby Dolls was Muse’s original name before being called Muse.
