Watch Thou Deliver a Cover of Alice In Chains’ “Brother” Live

Thou performed cover of Alice in Chains‘ “Brother” recently, according to The PRP. The band performed the song at 1-2-3-4 Go! Records in Oakland, CA.

The cover deviates a bit from the band’s typical style, as their body of work is much more heavy than this song. Thou is a doom metal band, and they rocked this cover by softening their sound while still putting their own flare on the song.

Thou just released their album Magnus in September 2018. Check out our review of the album here.

“Brother” was originally released in 1992 off of the band’s Sap EP, but is more well known from their 1996 MTV Unplugged performance.

Alice in Chains had a busy past year, performing at a myriad of festivals as well as releasing their new album Rainier Fog in August. Read a review of their video for “Never Fade” here.
