Bethany Cosentino’s Year-End List Reveals She’s One Year Sober and Best Coast Is Recording an Album in 2019

Today on Twitter Bethany Cosentino dropped some wisdom on where she’s been over the last year or so and where she’s about to go. The tweets featured a top 10 list of 2019, kicking off what is probably her most proud fact of the year, that she’s now one year sober.

She followed it up by saying she fell in love and has strong friendships, that she loved Cardi B’s debut album Invasion of Privacy (hardly a controversial opinion) and embraced her naturally curly hair. Another post added in five more items. She loved Kacey Musgraves (also not controversial), let go of the past, loved Ruston Kelly (less of an obvious choice than the previous two albums) and too the Whole 30 challenge (twice!) – not an easy feat.

She goes on to talk about how 2018 was a “gnarly” year for her, but in the best way. Then in the last post of the thread, she talks about a new Best Coast album:
