Bono and The Edge of U2 returned to busk in the Dublin streets for the first time in three years as a part of Simon Community’s annual fundraising event to raise money for the homeless in Ireland, according to Consequence of Sound. The pair were joined by Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, Imelda May, and more.
Bono and The Edge performed “Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way” off of their most recent album Songs of Experience, as well as covers of “O Holy Night” and “O Night Divine.” They were also joined by Hansard, Rice, and May for a cover of Darlene Love‘s “Christmas (Baby Pease Come Home).”
In addition to these performances, Rice and Hansard also covered Radiohead’s “Creep.” Check out footage of the event below.
