Chicano indie duo The Red Pears are slated to perform next year in Tustin with fellow rock band Vundabar. The show will take place at Marty’s On Newport in the OC Area on Saturday, February 16th, 2019. General admission tickets for the event will cost fans $15. Ticket holders will be required to show valid identification due to the venue being for those 21 years old and older. Free will call will also be available at the venue box office. Doors for the function will open at 8:00 PM, with the first sounds of the night beginning at 9:00 PM.

The Red Pears are an alternative/indie band from the friendly City of El Monte located in Southern California. The two man band consists of high school friends Henry Vargas (guitar and vocals) and Jose Corona (drums). The pair also occasionally receives support from their close friend Patrick Juarez (bass). Coming from similar interests and heritage, the duo got their start in 2014 and have released two studio albums since then. Their first album entitled We Bring Anything to the Table… Except Tables, We Can’t Bring Tables to the Table’ was well received by many and helped kick off their careers. After being signed to Daycare Records, the band’s more recent album entitled For Today, For Tomorrow, For What Is, For What Could’ve Been satisfied fans once again with their signature soft yet gritty sound. Their more notable track Beach Song is an absolute banger that accurately depicts the band’s style.

The Latinos from El Monte will undoubtedly put on a hype show for those attending. With support from Vundabar, The Red Pears are set to create a memorable night.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
