During his solo show on December 19 at The Orpheum in Los Angeles, Thom Yorke was joined by Nigel Godrich, Flea, and Joey Waronker, performing as their band Atoms for Peace, according to Pitchfork. Although short one member, Mauro Refosco, this marks the band’s first performance since 2015.
The band performed Yorke’s song “Atoms for Peace” off of his 2006 solo album The Eraser. They initially formed to play songs off of this album, but ended up becoming their own band, releasing an LP entitled AMOK in 2013.
Yorke is currently on tour, accompanied by Godrich. He released his soundtrack for Suspiria this year, with his song “Suspirium” making the shortlist for Best Original Song at the Oscars this year. In addition to this, it was recently announced that Radiohead will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
