Spain’s annual Bilbao BBK Live has revealed their 2019 lineup. Dubbed to be their most contemporary lineup yet, the list of performers for 2019 is quite diverse, including sets from Suede, The Strokes, Thom Yorke, Vince Staples, and Princess Nokia. Other artists include BROCKHAMPTON, Khruangbin, Yaeji, Hot Chip. The festival will take place July 11-13 in Kobetamendi, Bilbao. Passes are on sale now and available from the festival’s website. Each year the festival contiues to outdo itself with lineups that are to be talked about for the whole year, This year included performances from Florence and The Machine, The XX, and the Gorillaz alongside Childish Gambino, Alt-J, David Byrne, and The Chemical Brothers. Past years have included sets from Depeche Mode, Phoenix, Arcade Fire, Muse, and The 1975.
2019 festival performer Thom Yorke was recently included on the Osars shortlist for Best Original Song Suspirium., alongside Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Sade, Sampha and Troye Sivan. Yorke did release his latest album Suspiria, an album that provides great film tracks.
