LA Gives Back 3 @ Catch One 12/19

Eight of LA’s most influential music curators link up once again for a good cause. Presented by IHEARTCOMIX, ‘LA Gives Back’ returns with another stacked secret lineup with the event taking place at Catch One (formerly Union Nightclub) on Wednesday, December 19th. Associated acts from the crews of Brownies & Lemonade, Emo Nite, Ninja Tune, Ham On Everything, Adult Swim, Mad Decent, Restless Nites, and Late Night Laggers will be in attendance. This benefit show is aimed to address LA’s growing homeless crisis. Absolutely all of the proceeds will go to the Downtown Women’s Center and My Friends Place charities. Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is an organization that serves and empowers women experiencing homelessness, while My Friends Place assists and inspires the homeless youth. The current price for general admission tickets are $30, with the price being $35 if purchased the day of. The show is scheduled to occur from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM. There will also be an 18 years old or older age restriction.

‘LA Gives Back 3’ is a one-night holiday benefit event that is slated to have an insane lineup. Since its beginning in 2016, the event has raised close to $120,000 for local charities. With past iconic surprise performances by Diplo, Boys Noize, Ducky, Valentino Khan, Party Favor, Louis the Child, and Kittens, there is no telling who’s going to show up this time. So hurry and get your tickets soon as they’re expected to sell out quick like last years!

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
